About Melissa

I am a wife and mom of 3 beautiful children who are being raised on Jesus, whole foods and Homeopathy. We don't have the perfect diet, but we do the best we can! Nonetheless, they are healthy, smart, vibrant children who love Jesus, Who is the Author and Finisher of our faith. Jesus set us free from sin and death and we follow Him because of what He did and Who He is. It was Him Who brought me to this way of life and it's HIM Who gets all the glory so I have made it my mission to prayerfully and thankfully share my journey and knowledge with others. We homeschool and I LOVE encouraging families to teach their children and care for their families at home. As a Board Certified Lactation Consultant since 2010 and a La Leche League Leader for 3 years before that, I am passionate about helping families reach their breastfeeding goals. Feeding your baby at the breast is so much deeper than the milk itself - the delivery system is a major key! I am well-versed in tethered oral tissue and am proud to say that I have phenomenal contacts in the area for a multi-disciplinary approach, which is critical in the treatment of tethered oral tissue.
